Retention Bonus
During this challenging time, we want you to know how much we appreciate our staff at Episcopal Homes. We want to thank you for your commitment along with the love, care and compassion you show to our elders. The COVID pandemic has presented many challenges but has also reminded us of the wonderful staff that work with us.

As we reflect on our wonderful team we have thought about what you do to assure our care and services happen every day. Many of you have picked up shifts, worked doubles, stayed late, came in early, and so much more. In addition, you are working with us through mass testing, transportation disruptions and most recently, civil unrest. What is required of you has changed, yet, you still come to show your love, care and compassion to our residents.

As a recognition of your dedication and the work you are doing to keep each other safe as well as the elders, we have developed a bonus program for all staff at ECH, the Gardens and IPC. This bonus will reward staff for every hour they spend working with us throughout this summer. Now more than ever we need staff to commit to their schedule, be present for all of their shifts, and even to pick up more shifts as they are able.

This retention bonus will provide you with a $1 per hour bonus for every hour you work from June 1, 2020 until August 31, 2020. For staff that work 5 days a week or forty hours, this will amount to an approximate bonus of $500. If you work half-time it will be half of this amount. The bonus will be paid to you in one lump sum at the end of the retention bonus period. Please see the attached policy for more details.
